I've been a member of the Sutton chapter of BNI for a year now, and I can recommend it as a networking tool for small businesses. We meet for breakfast and networking every Thursday. Today it was my turn to give a ten-minute presentation on my business, and I devoted it to talking about two jobs I've done recently for fellow BNI members.

Christopher Calver Groom is an independent financial adviser, especially interested in advising high-net-worth individuals on the best investment strategy to meet their needs. Chris asked me to write some material for his new web site: a mission statement for his business and profiles of himself, his partner and the business administrator.

Louise Sutherland is a photographer who specialises in family portraits, especially mums-to-be and mums with their babies. Louise won a gold award from The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers, and she asked me to prepare a press release about this.
