• Poor customer management skills

  Rated 0 because due to the poor customer skills my car was in the garage with zero result.Initially I have booked for Thursday, but asked if I can drop it on Wednesday.The guys said I could do it.I have assumed that this meant my car could be looked at on Wednesday providing some cancellations would happen.Dropped car in on Wednesday morning and called in later in the afternoon to see if they had a chance to look at it.Mechanic spoke to me like I was a child and said that since I booked for Thursday they did not look at it. On Thursday afternoon my wife called in to check.She was under impression car was booked in for Wednesday however due to the miscommunication between me and her.Instead of calming down the situation, mechanic said car possible could be done by Friday (er?). This ended up in the conflict and instead of managing it and speaking to me (as it was me who was a customer) the mechanic let it escalate. Later I have called the garage to speak with the mechanic.He was very agitated and emotional.I think it would beneficial for him to learn some conflict resolution skills.He may be respected for what he does to cars but his people skills need serious adjustment.
